Wow Ansley turned 8 months yesterday and she is just changing everyday. She loves to feed herself and she drinks well from a sippy cup. She loves to play peek-a-boo and she crawls like a wind-up toy. She is so fast. I try to take pictures of her and all I can ever get is her side cause she's off moving again. She doesn't like to be in a carrier anymore cause she would rather be crawling around. She pulls herself up on furniture and can balance while sitting on her knees. She can climb the stairs (scary one) and can throw a ball (except not beanbag squishy balls). She is a petite little thing. She weighs 16 lbs and is 26 in long. She is just above the 10% percentile in both height and weight. She growls and lately has been making wookie noises where she gargles. She fake coughs and fake sneezes and just tests out different sounds. We are still working on waving and clapping. She doesn't quite get those yet. And she laughs better too! She is such a delightful child. We love her to pieces!

Don't try to change the ball on her and don't make her catch it....we could not control the laughing. I know I made sounds like that when I was a teenager trying to catch a ball. Maybe we can train her while she's young.
Only recently have I really been able to make her laugh.
She loves the pillow game and playing it with my mom!
She crawls so fast..I turn around and she's into something else!

Yeah, sorry i didnt tell you. She is having a little girl too. Only 6 1/2 weeks to go now, it is so exciting. I cant believe ansley is 8 months already!! she is adorable!!!!!!
Personally from my vaaast experience with babies is that the funnest thing is watching them learn! They have so much to you and you get to teach them! I can't wait!
she just motors around there!! what an adorable little miss! I hope you guys are doing GREAT!
