Well the job hunt continues....Let me tell you its a really hard time to have just graduated college and looking for a job because it seems like everyone else is looking for a job too. Levin has interviewed with the Census Bureau and we put applications in to be substitute teachers, also he has applied at Verizon Wireless. Well then he didn't hear back from the Census people and we just found out due to budget cuts we can't become subs at least not now which we were kinda counting on... He did hear back form Verizon to reapply for the March class so hopefully that will come through for us. He would be working in the call center (answering calls about bills and stuff) but that's where everyone starts in this company and there is tons of internal promotion which is how he thinks he can get into HR. He also just heard from his dad about a possible Russian interpreter job which would be good since we have nothing lined up yet.
Despite our situation we truly are blessed....we have a place to live thanks to my mom and dad and they are helping to feed us and letting us borrow a car. We try really hard to be good house guests. We scrubbed the kitchen floor the other day...its a big kitchen and Levin is trying to do odd jobs to increase the value of their house. He is wiring their house for internet and we are fixing the back deck so that is doesn't pool water and then once that is done Levin is going to sheet rock the unfinished room under the deck. I've been trying to put my organizational skills to good use and I try to cook as much as I can to help get everyone taken care of.
Ansley is our joy and helps us get through the discouragements we currently face. I do have faith Heavenly Father will take care of us. I'm working on being patient and not freaking out too bad. We are really hoping the Verizon Job will come through.
This past week slowed our renovations projects down because Sam my brother got the flu and then Levin got it and Ansley got it too. I've had no time to blog.
We have been having fun watching Craig's List for good deals. We bought an elliptical for $10 because the guy thought the electrical was gone...turned out you just had to flip some postive/negative thing on the AC adapter. It works great and then we found a 27" TV for our future house but in the meantime is being used in the "exercise room" complete with elliptical and treadmill belonging to my parents and an exercise bike we are borrowing from Levin's parents. Here's a video of Ansley trying out the treadmill and photos of her on the other equipment.

Dont stress about the job. My mum always tells me that if you're trying to do what the lord wants, he'll take care of you. maybe you should just look at this as some extra time you get to spend with ansley....
good luck!!
We are keeping you guys in our prayers!! Trials make us stronger... (even though it sure doesn't feel like it when it's happening!) Hang in there.... the right job/jobs will come!! I'm sure your mom and dad are so grateful to have you there and for all of your help!!
We had the same problems with finding jobs when we first moved back too, we were unemployed for a wee while. Then on top of that i found out i was pregnant...now who wants to hire a pregnant lady! I just went into doing temp work, it was only supose to be 6 weeks, but that turned into 6 months. Kishan on the other hand was getting depressed that he didnt have a job, and just took whatever...but the whole time we just kept the faith and after a lot of struggle and sacrifice he has a good job. well one that pays nicely.
I will be praying for you!!!!
