7 Months Old

Girl with a million faces...yep that's Ansley...she's cute and gremlin like all at the same time ;)









Ansley just turned 7 months on Dec 29. She is about 15.4 lbs and like 27 inches long. She has grown so much in the little time we have been here. She has her two bottom front teeth which she was cutting during Christmas...what a joy. She is eating a whole lot of food these days, including lots of fruits and veggies. The only things she doesn't like are turkey and rice dinner, and bananas and she really doesn't like rice cereal mixed with bananas. She eats everything else really well. She is getting really good balance. She crawls faster everyday and pulls herself up onto things. She will see me across the room, crawl to me and then crawl up my pant leg begging me to pick her up. She loves mommy right now. She says, mama and dada and baba all the time. She slept the night through 12 hours for the first time yesterday! Victory! We have really been trying to be diligent with getting her into a routine and I think last night I got a good ten hours of sleep ( haven't had that much sleep in it seems like forever, actually almost a year of rough sleep.) Anyway, all the wakeful nights are so worth it and I'm not sure how long this sleeping all night thing will last. I hope at least a few nights :) She laughs and loves to play peek-a-boo. She is getting so smart and loves to feed herself and combs the carpet for little things she can pick up and stick in her mouth. Joy! She just had her first haircut after Christmas. I cut off the long pieces that used to hang over her ears. She looks not as rag-a-muffin-ish. I love this little girl. We are getting used to living in a big house. I'm constantly sweeping and vacuuming it feels like. We are grateful to have a place to stay as Levin job hunts.
