Well Levin and I had some unfinished projects we were working on and then when we were in Gatlinburg I realized I wanted a backpack diaper bag instead of the over the shoulder one I have now. So we decided to make one and thus we decided to finish one of our other unfinished projects. So here is my new bag... I used the placemat purse design but I added a drawstring and a zipper pocket on the inside of the bag. The other project was a small arm chair for Ansley. Levin was at Big Lots saw one and said "I can make that." So he took some of his scrap wood...nailed it together, put some cardboard on it, and then found some free chairs on Craig's List to snag the cushion foam from them. The Craig's List chairs were just disgusting but after a few washings the smokey smell finally left the seat foam. We cut the foam into thirds so we could line the chair. We still have one more chair to make for my cousin Sonni but that will be next week sometime. Overall I think the two projects were a success!
