Beach and Downtown Charleston

We are enjoying a visit from our good friends from BYU-H who are now in Louisiana getting masters degrees at Southeastern Louisiana University. Scott and Mel are very dear to us and we are having a blast with them! We feel in a large part responsible for them being together and getting married. So far we went to Sullivan's Island Light house and then Beach and then we went to Fort Moultrie. The next day we went downtown to the market and we took a Carriage Tour of the city. Then Levin drove down to meet us and we walked to Waterfront Park and the Battery. We saw cannons and at the beach we saw some dolphins, tons and tons of dolphins. We even saw a few flipper stunts too! It was fun being a tourist in my home city and showing them the cool history in the "holy city." (nicknamed because there are over 100 churches in Charleston)

How fun!!!!!!!!! I guess we need to come too. I guess if we ever get out of debt we will be there:) Ty will be close this fall (Florida), but still not close enough.
We both agree that your daughter is getting more and more beautiful as she gets older; you better start working on a tower to lock her in :)

As a teenager did you realize that we lived in place that is people's favorite vacation location? I sure didn't, but now I love bringing people to see Charleston.

Ansley is such a cute little girl! I love the "Favorite Pic" of her. Isn't it so nice to visit with friends from Hawaii. I miss so many people and neighbors ;) We are lucky to have the Platt's 10 minutes away and the Huish's will be joining soon.
