Well we decided as a family that Levin working at Chick-fil-A had served its purpose, to help us pay off our student loans and so he decided to put in his two weeks notice there. They made it pretty obvious they like him as a worker (he works 40 hours every week, one of few employees who works that much) but there was not a chance he could get on the management track anytime soon. Frankly though I don't think Levin would like being a manager there.
So with Levin working 40 hours a week he was finding it hard to come home and then hunt for real jobs so he is going to make his job hunting for a job his job. Maybe he can find a part-time job that pays better than Chick-fil-A while he job hunts...we don't know. Let's just say money was tight before well...its really gonna be tight now.
He does have a few leads/bugs out there about jobs but they all seem to have contingencies like this one company Cohen Drywall. Levin was going to hopefully fill an open slot here in Charleston but then they decided to make these two guys drive down from Myrtle Beach everyday to do the job cause business was slow up there. Anyway, its just stuff like that. We really don't know how long that will last a 4 hour commute to and from work every day....can that really work? So if they decide that is ridiculous then Levin is still in the running but we just can't depend on stuff like that so Levin is scouring the internet for jobs. If you hear of any leads let us know. It has to be an entry level position where they are willing to train because my sweet husband has limited work experience. The internship thing never really happened for him because he married me one summer then he went to China and Mongolia one summer and then the next summer we had a new baby!
I am so excited to get to see Levin more and I know Heavenly Father will bless us with a job soon. Working there made it impossible for him to be flexible for interviews and to really get out there and find a job.
Keep us in your prayers! Thanks for all the support we recieve from all of you! I hope to report super fantastic news soon!
