If I have to plan another wedding I think I am going to scream....just kidding Karen ;) Yeah my sister Karen just let us all know she is engaged to Brian and we are so happy! They are set to get married December 23, 2009 in Columbia, SC. She comes home in a few weeks and we will be talking wedding. I am grateful for the few weeks I have off before she comes where I don't have to think about weddings. I helped my seminary teacher's son with his wedding reception and then my cousin Matt with his reception. I have been sewing and catering and decorating. I loved every minute of it except the inconveniences that come with being pregnant and trying to get things done. Both wedding turned out beautiful. And once again my picture skills are lacking greatly....I'm dying to get a new camera so I can chase Ansley around and get better photos of her. She's so fast these days. Here are a few high lights from Matt and Emily's wedding. Can I just say her family is off the hizzle with decorating ideas and it was unfair that her sister is a florist and decorates for weddings on a weekly basis. No it was really fortunate for Emily! She deserved to have such a beautiful reception and ring ceremony. I wish I had taken more photos so you see the raw talent! Oh yeah and her mom made her dress and her cake!
I believe in God and his Son Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ was sent to do the will of the Father...to become our Savior...to die for us...to provide the mercy needed to help us return to live with our Heavenly Father and to become like him. The atonement of Jesus is real and I have felt his love. I believe that Christ's church was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith. The priesthood power of God was brought back to the earth. His church is guided through His prophet, Thomas S. Monson just like Noah and Moses lead His church before. I know that the Book of Mormon is a second witness to the Bible that Jesus Christ died and was Resurrected. Reading this book will change your life but only if you really want to know, humble yourself and ask God to witness to you its truthfulness. I love my husband and my daughter and am grateful to be sealed to them for all time and eternity.
