Today we went apple picking near Hendersonville, NC at the Sky Top Orchard. They had so many different kinds of apples. We picked gala apples because they were the sweetest ones. They were so good. We enjoyed eating a few as we picked and filled a basket. Ansley got to ride in a wagon and have me take lots of pictures of her. It was my first time going apple picking. Levin and his family have been going for years and have fond memories of climbing trees and eating lots of apples. It was a great way to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Gunter on Labor Day.
I believe in God and his Son Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ was sent to do the will of the Father...to become our Savior...to die for us...to provide the mercy needed to help us return to live with our Heavenly Father and to become like him. The atonement of Jesus is real and I have felt his love. I believe that Christ's church was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith. The priesthood power of God was brought back to the earth. His church is guided through His prophet, Thomas S. Monson just like Noah and Moses lead His church before. I know that the Book of Mormon is a second witness to the Bible that Jesus Christ died and was Resurrected. Reading this book will change your life but only if you really want to know, humble yourself and ask God to witness to you its truthfulness. I love my husband and my daughter and am grateful to be sealed to them for all time and eternity.
