Ansley in her new pretty dress!

huh? she says

my darling baby!

Ansley just hit the 2 month mark and she is getting so smart and so big. The biggest battle for us seems to be learning to put Ansley to sleep. I suppose this is a problem for every new parent. She's just so cute but she is starting to get used to having mommy there while she sleeps. I just started working part-time again and so needless to say I am pretty tired. My life consists of working a few hours, coming home and feeding baby, then she naps and I have to decide if I should pump some back-up milk or take a nap or do dishes or maybe even scrapbook if I'm lucky enough. Then she wakes up I feed and play with her and then by the end of the day I'm exhausted. Somehow her schedule is off right now and she has been going to bed about 11pm and waking up in the middle of the night. Last night it was bed about 10:30 or so then up at 2ish then 5ish and then I had to get up at 6ish to get ready for work at 7. Well frankly I'm too tired to move her back and forth from the crib to the bed to feed her. I need to work on it. I don't want her to get used to sleeping with us. I sleep better if she's not in the bed but it seems that she sleeps better when she is in the bed. Drama...but she's worth it. Levin I know will agree. It will get better I'm sure it's just been quite a rough adjustment for me. I'm so tired I'm not able to implement certain practices and I'm not with her all day now that I'm not sure what her patterns are. All I know is that her pattern is off and I'm not sure how to get her back on.

Have you read the book baby wise? It does wonders for getting babie to sleep through the night! Cecily was sleeping all the way through by 7 weeks!!

Ansley is getting so big. they grow up so fast. ps where did you get the cool background for your blog
She is super cute! I can't believe those eyes. It's like she's looking at me through the screen. I look forward to watching her grow -- even if it is from a distance.
